This restaurant has been there tested through times since the early 80s as far as I can remember. It used to be the classy restaurant to go and despite many competitions it is still popular. Not much has changed in terms of it's looks and food choices. Price is reasonable...

A nice local spot of Malaysian food. The chicken Sambal hits the spot, mixed with the beansprouts side dish. To go with this, we had the Siam Me noodles. Make sure to add the red Sambal on the side. Very tasty and home cooking style food. There are larger tables for bigger groups. The iced coffee is also very good, nice and strong.

We were too hungry after a long day journey. So we made a quick order of some 8 dishes and finished them all before remembering the photos. Most dishes were good. We were not filled after the 8 so we repeated a couple of them: The Penang Kew Teo and Dry shrimp stirred fried vegetable. They are ordinary dishes available in almost every Chinese restaurants in Malaysia. But this restaurant makes them tastefully good. Staff is friendly and tables spaciously and comfortably apart.

Our tour guide brought us here. We're a group of six and we ordered dinner. The salted egg squid and asam pedas is to die for. We didn't even remember to snap pics before eating.
